To send money, you must provide the recipient’s full name, the destination country, and the amount to be sent.
You need to present valid identification: a Portuguese Citizen Card or ID, a national ID from any EU or Schengen country, a Portuguese Residence Permit (issued by AIMA), or a passport.
The transfer is made by filling out a form with the transaction details. The Unicâmbio team will assist you throughout the process.
To collect money, you must provide the transfer control number (MTCN), sender’s name, country, and the approximate amount.
As with sending, a valid ID must be presented.
Once the information is validated, the amount is paid in cash at the branch.
