The service is available for Unicâmbio customers who are already registered. When you call you should have your ID document and mobile phone already registered in advance.

HOW CAN I RECEIVE THE AMOUNT THEY send ME THROUGH THE WESTERN UNION?

The operator receives your request and validates all available data. You should have the Western Union transfer data with you
- the MTCN (operation number)
- The Name of the sender
- The Amount receivable to be transfered
- the country of origin of the funds
You will be provided by the operator with all the necessary information to receive your transfer
Receive from Unicâmbio the confirmation of the transfer by SMS and/or email
In the first contact you should consult the operator on how and if you need to send proof of bank account ownership, i.e. a proof of IBAN. This may be a bank statement, or correspondence from your bank (less than 3 months old), which contains your name and IBAN, or a proof of IBAN issued using you home banking service. All you must do is send it once in the first transaction you make in this channel.

The reception process is carried out as if you were at one of the Unicâmbio branches, in complete safety, in the comfort of your home!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE THE MONEY TO GET TO MY ACCOUNT?

The completion of the operation will depend on the validation of all information provided during the process

If received by 5 p.m., the process will be completed the following working day;
If received after 5 p.m., the process will be completed on the second following working day;

IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN processing Western Union Service transactions, only THE payments THAT ARE made by the client himself or duly identified will be considered. The customer must be an account holder.

The processing of the transaction is subject to the Western Union transfer service conditions. You should consult the terms and conditions
The responsibility of Unicâmbio is to process the sending or payment transaction, after receiving the amounts to be sent and in accordance with the rules applicable to the Western Union service.
In the processing of Western Union Service transactions, only payments made by the customer himself duly identified will be considered. The customer must be an account holder.
In order to take advantage of this new channel, the customer must have sent proof of bank account ownership, i.e., a proof of IBAN in advance.
