Now your trips will be easier and with the certainty that once you get to your destination you won't have to worry about currency conversion. Buying the currency on time prevents you from paying new conversions and incurring unexpected costs.

Please be advised that in order to process your foreign exchange transaction you must present (*) an identification document.

With Unicâmbio your trips are safest, more practical and much cheaper.

(*) Natural Persons

The Identification documents accepted for all services provided by Unicâmbio are:

Citizen Card or Identity Card (PT) or from all countries of the European Union;
Residence Permit in Portugal;
Passport.

Legal Persons

The necessary and accepted documents for identification of Legal Persons are:

Commercial Entities - Commercial Registry Certificate - or Permanent Certificate Access Code (PC)
Individual Entrepreneur. - Activity Registration at the Tax Authority;
Public Entities - Updated entity document in the National Register of Legal Persons of the Institute of Registration and Notary Affairs;
Representative
- Declaration or Power of Attorney with qualification of representative of the Legal Person;
- One of the identification documents for Natural Persons.

Observations:

The identification documents must be valid.
The verification of the identifying and informative elements available is done through the image extraction of these elements. In accordance with Articles 24 and 25 of Law 83/2017, of 18 August.
In case of Romania ID card it should be accompanied by a second signed document
The minimum age for natural persons on the manual exchange service is 16 years.

The operators will request other information at the time of the transaction as required by the legal and regulatory regime (Notice 2/2018 of the Bank of Portugal).
